College isn't easy
College is not very easy. In college you gain responsibilities that you do not understand quite how to handle. You don't have your parents to wake you up and make you go to school, nor is there anyone there to make sure you stay on task. In the AUC (Atlanta University Center) dorms have representatives, sometimes of the opposite sex. At Spelman there is a dorm called HH that had a pageant for their representative, a guy that will be named Mr. HH. My best friend Joshua was in the pageant. Unfortunately Josh didn't win the title Mr. HH, but he did come out a winner holding the title Mr. Pink and Blue (the dorms colors). It makes a person feel good to know that they have supported their friends in their endeavors, whether they want to or not. The friend also appreciates the support given and recognize exactly how great of a friend you are. College has taught me the value of relationships and how easy it is to sever a friendship without those intentions. That's definitely a good thing. Unfortunately, this week is midterms which means super studying in order to pass classes. This college thing is not easy.......but I love it!

hi, I believe in you.keep up good work .from cheerlader to another .good luck.
The way that you have dignity in yourself makes me want to go to college even more than before. And also my parents don't have enough money for me to go to college so i try to do my best most of the time.
Hi Iyahanna,
You are definitely smart enough to earn a college scholarship if you stay focused. Alex was (and still is) determined to stay focus and that is way she made it to college. I hope to see you in college in 5 years...With a scholarship in hand :)
Mr.Fite
I have faith in u iyahanna..keep faith in yourself. you really don't need anyone else to believe that you can do it but urself. it's up to u to make sure ur successful, not other ppl. Stay focused and do well in school and someone will pay for your ticket to college. To tell u the truth, i didn't have the money to be where i am, but i kept the faith and i made it. If u've got the faith, God's got the power. and thanks carla for the cheer of confidence...i greatly appreciate it
