Hi everybody. I'm Alex and I spoke with Mr. Fite about his 6th grade class that decided to write me letters. I can't wait until I get them. I am very honored that you all want to learn about me and in return I am very excited to learn about you all. I am at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia now, but there was a time that I was sitting in Mr. Fite's class listening intently to him and what he was teaching. Listen to what he's saying....he's definitely a wise man. I'm where i am now because of him. As soon as I get your letters I'll respond to them. Can't wait to be your pen pals....

Hi Kalon!i am doing pretty well in school. College is very difficult because at times you cannot depend on your professor to teach you the material. You can only depend on yourself. You paid for your education so you have to make the best out of the situation that you can
To answer the other question...Clark Atlanta is a co-ed school. But we are situated in an area with other HBCUs which unite to form the AUC (Atlanta University Center). Two of the other schools are same sex institutions, Spelman College and Morehouse College

I wanted to go to Clark Atlanta because 1. it was a HBCU. It is located in Atlanta, and location is always important when you choose your school, it is a very good school, it's also located in the AUC which gives me an experience that i could get nowhere else on earth. Other than that it was a random choice that i'm not sure how i became passionate about coming to this school. I have thought about going to another school, but it has always been a fleeting thought. I love my school and I really don't want to leave the AUC. HBCUs all have their disadvantages, but in the end the entire experience is definitely worth it.

no i don't get home sick...i do get sick of home tho. Detroit did not seem to have a positive influence on me because it seems that ppl didn't have the right goals for life. Same for high school. ppl all went to the same places and some of them not for good reasons. I'm happy to be where i am right now...i've found where i belong

i had a great childhood when i look back on it. when u get older u realize that the best years of life were mostly when u were young because u had no worries. when you get older you have worries about schools, money, and relationships. u'll understand soon enough. I would come to visit Detroit, but i don't have plans to live in Detroit n the future. I have love for Detroit, but there are other places that i feel better suit me. I'll definitely try to make a difference in a Detroit regardless of whether i live there or not

It depends on where you go to school and what u make of it while you're there. But ultimately, your goal is not to go to school to have fun, but to get an education. In Atlanta there are many things to do, but I have to stay focused on what's important
